    THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT

The Funeral Portrait officially enter a new chapter in their career with the release of their first-ever live album, Live From Suffocate City, out now via Better Noise Music. More than just a concert recording, the album stands as a powerful document of the world they’ve built around Suffocate City a space defined by raw emotion, self-expression, and a deep bond between the band and their devoted fanbase, known as The Coffin Crew.

Released at the start of 2026, the album arrives as a milestone for the Atlanta, Georgia-based band, who have rapidly risen as one of the most compelling forces in modern active rock.

💿 About Live From Suffocate City:

    ARTWORK LIVE FROM SUFFOCATE CITY

Live From Suffocate City was recorded during the band’s sold out hometown show, “Suffocate City Town Hall Meeting,” at The Masquerade in Atlanta in 2025. The album captures the intensity of that night in full crowd chants, emotional breakdowns, and explosive performances blending into a singular moment of controlled chaos.

The album is available in multiple formats:

Digital streaming & download

CD & Blu-Ray

Limited-edition vinyl, pressed in
the band’s signature green and purple colors

The Blu-Ray edition offers an exclusive visual experience, documenting the band’s legendary performance in front of a sea of loyal fans, preserving the raw emotion, high energy delivery, and fan favorite anthems that define The Funeral Portrait’s live presence.

💫 About the Single: Stay Weird

Alongside the album release, The Funeral Portrait unveiled a cinematic video for “Stay Weird,” one of the most personal and meaningful songs in their catalog. The track has long served as an anthem for outsiders those who embrace their individuality and refuse to conform. Stay Weird has always been our love letter to the unique souls who’ve supported this band since day one,” says frontman Lee Jennings.

Hearing The Coffin Crew sing it back to us in Atlanta during the ‘Suffocate City Town Hall Meeting’ was unreal. That night embodied everything we stand for individuality, belonging, and the freedom to be yourself. I’m excited that this live album lets the world feel that energy.

Stay Weird follows the release of the live video for “Voodoo Doll,” which premiered on October 31, further expanding the visual narrative of the Suffocate City era.

🎶 Musical Atmosphere:

Live From Suffocate City presents The Funeral Portrait in their most honest form. Crushing guitar tones, emotionally charged vocals, and relentless rhythms collide with the crowd’s overwhelming response, creating an immersive live experience.

Tracks like “Holy Water,” “Dark Thoughts,” and “Suffocate City” feel even more powerful in their live incarnations, reinforcing the band’s reputation as a formidable live act. The album proves that chaos and catharsis are not just themes but the very language of The Funeral Portrait.
